Vehicle Services
Effective May 1, 2007 Haggle Free Autos is
happy to announce that we will now provide our services to clients
searching for used (previously owned) vehicles. In order to
ensure the quality of a used vehicle, our search will be limited
to those used vehicles that have been certified by the manufacturer.
A manufacturer’s “Certified Used Vehicle”
has passed a rigorous inspection, and most often will come with
a manufacturer’s warrantee. In addition, it has been our
experience that these “certified” vehicles are the
“cream of the crop,” and have lower than average
miles.
The fees that we charge will be the same as
those charged for a new vehicle with this one exception:
**Instead of using the Manufacturer’s
Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) as a starting figure for calculating
the final figures, will use the Retail Value of the vehicle
as listed in the Kelly Blue Book (www.kbb.com). Used vehicle
listings in the Kelly Blue Book are listed according to geographic
zip code areas.

Questions and Answers
1) Are these Manufacturer’s
Certified Used Vehicles more expensive than non-certified used
vehicles?
Answer: The
fact that a vehicle is certified by the manufacturer has no
effect on the Kelly Blue Book Retail Value. The dealer may attempt
to justify a higher price based on the certification and the
warrantee, however our negotiators are well trained, and can
deal with this situation.
2) Can I still purchase an extended
warrantee on a Certified Used Vehicle, if I choose?
Answer: Yes…in most
cases we can assist you by negotiating a discounted “extended
warrantee” by applying a credit for the “certified
used vehicle “warrantee.
3) Are interest rates higher on used
vehicles?
Answer: Possibly…However,
many manufacturers offer a lower interest rate incentive for
those consumers considering the purchase of a Certified Used
Vehicle
**FINAL NOTE:
Manufacturer’s certified Used Vehicles
are far less susceptible to arbitrary pricing. THESE VEHICLES
TEND TO BE MORE FAIRLY PRICED THAN THE NON-CERTIFIED USED
AUTOMOBILES!
